Investment Banking Associate

Your Career as an Investment Banking Associate:

• You will be assigned to an industry group or to mergers and acquisitions;
• You will work under the overall direction of a senior officer in a group of experienced professionals as they generate ideas, advise clients and execute transactions;
• This role involves a series of rotations throughout different industry and product groups and typically leads to more senior positions in Investment Banking.

How You Will Contribute:

• Research and analyze clients’ financial situations, industry and market data, identify, research and analyze merger and acquisition opportunities, and/or equity capital markets;
• Develop valuation models of individual private and public companies as well as merged entities;
• Assist with client negotiations and documentation;
• Prepare external client proposals and internal underwriting memos;
• Prepare and contribute to delivery of client presentations;
• Aid senior team members with idea generation;
• Manage and review work of analysts;
• Develop internal relationships in order to leverage products and services provided by TDBFG.

Qualifications:

• Graduating with an MBA with work experience although not necessarily in a finance related role;
• Have a combination of strong financial/analytical skills, excellent communications abilities and be adept at financial modeling and valuation;
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
