Meet with project team to discuss the presentation materials for tomorrow's big pitch. Go through the presentation with the team's senior members for feedback.

Meet with the VP More

Meet with the VP to go over comments and feedback from the previous meeting. Start making the revisions (there aren't too many to be made, but never underestimate the time required to make them!). Meanwhile, the VP drafts up a few new slides for the presentation.

Buy lunch from the food court downstairs and read up on the morning's news while eating at my desk. Continue making my way down the list of changes, including reformatting, text edits, and adding new graphs.

Receive an unexpected visit... More

Receive an unexpected visit from an Associate regarding another project I am also working on, with a last minute request to update the LBO analysis with new assumptions for a client call at 2pm. The first presentation I was working on is put on hold.

The call was lengthy, but went well. The client has requested additional analysis under various scenarios, including different financing sources and operating assumptions.

Enjoy a short break with an afternoon coffee. Meet with my Associate to plan out new scenarios for the additional analysis as per the client's request. Have a call with the client to confirm a few missing assumptions.

Back to the first presentation, continuing with the revisions and new slides my VP had drafted (luckily there are only a few!). After the markets have closed I update the graphs, charts and analysis.

Review this morning's presentation with all the changes made, double checking all the numbers and text edits. Give a copy of the revised presentation to the VP and wait for his comments. The team orders in some dinner and we all eat together in one of the meeting rooms to relax and enjoy a break.

The pitch book has been approved with no changes! Now it is time to print and bind 12 copies of the book, and then turn my attention back to working on the other project. It has been a very productive day!
