5Banc Split Inc. is a “split share company” created on November 9, 2001 to invest in a portfolio of publicly listed common shares of Bank of Montreal, The Bank of Nova Scotia, Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, Royal Bank of Canada and The Toronto-Dominion Bank (the “Portfolio Shares”).

The Class B Preferred Shares entitle the holders to receive quarterly fixed cumulative preferential distributions equal to $0.11875 per Preferred Share. The Class B Capital Shares provide holders with a leveraged investment, the value of which is linked to changes in the market price of the Portfolio Shares.

Both the Class B Preferred Shares and Class B Capital Shares are listed and publicly traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
