Robbie Pryde

Robbie Pryde is Special Advisor to Riaz Ahmed, President and CEO, TD Securities and Group Head, Wholesale Banking, TD Bank Group. As Special Advisor, he provides strategic guidance to the TD Securities leadership team, supporting the Dealer's growth priorities and dedication to client service. Robbie led the Corporate & Investment Banking business from 2016 to 2023, where he oversaw Investment Banking Origination, Mergers & Acquisition, Leveraged Finance, Corporate Credit and Global Transaction Banking areas, and had shared oversight of Equity and Debt Capital Markets. Robbie joined TD Securities in 2000 and held several roles, including as Vice Chair and Head of Global Equities. Prior to this, he was a founding member of Newcrest Capital since 1995.

Robbie's industry knowledge, markets acumen, and client-centric approach are valued by clients and colleagues and have meaningfully shaped the global business landscape. He is also an avid developer of the industry's future leaders, retaining an active role in the firm's recruiting and mentoring initiatives.

Robbie serves on the advisory board of Capitalize For Kids and previously served on the boards of the National Ballet of Canada and Sterling Hall School Foundation. He is also a member of the Campaign Cabinet for SickKids Foundation.

Robbie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Western Ontario and is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder.
