At TD Securities, the Investment Banking Leveraged Finance function is an integral part of the full suite of services we offer under Investment Banking. Our Investment Banking professionals provide corporate clients with capital markets, banking advice and transaction execution.

Position

Associates are looked upon as vital resources, providing creative input in a variety of disciplines. Working under the overall direction of senior bankers you will be assigned to transactions and interact with the clients and the deals as they progress.

 

In This Capacity You Will

  • Work on structuring and syndicating leveraged finance transactions
  • Research and analyze clients’ financial situations, industry and market data, debt financing and merger and acquisitions
  • Create complex LBO and other financing models
  • Assist with client negotiations and credit documentation
  • Prepare external client proposals and internal underwriting memos
  • Support creation of client presentations

Qualifications

MBA graduate with a concentration in finance, along with a combination of strong financial/analytical skills, excellent communications abilities and well-developed writing proficiency. In addition, the candidate must be adept at financial modeling and valuation and work effectively in a team environment. Prior experience in investment banking is preferred but not required; however, the candidate must possess industry knowledge and an ambition for a career in investment banking.
