Export Credit Agency Structured Deals

Global Trade Finance provides financing solutions to assist companies grow their business. We utilize programs offered by Export Credit Agencies (ECA), such as Export Development Canada (EDC) and the Export Import Bank of the United States (U.S. Ex-Im) to deliver the medium and long term export financing our customers require to help expand their foreign sales.

 

 

EDC Bonding & Guarantees Support

Features

  • Targeted at Canadian Exporters.
  • TD would establish a credit facility to support issuance of Standby Letters of Credit, Guarantees, Bonds, etc.
  • Facility supported by EDC through their Account Performance Security Guarantee Program.
  • Facility size may range Export depending on need.

 

Benefits

  • Provides the Borrower with additional capital which is incremental to other capital provided by TD to the Borrower.

 

Requirements

  • Vary depending upon the amount, structure and creditworthiness of the Exporter.

U.S. Ex-Im Term Financing

Features

  • TD provides term loans to foreign buyers purchasing and exporting U.S. capital goods under a U.S. Ex-Im repayment guarantee.
  • Wide range of U.S. manufactured products and services eligible for financing.
  • Term/Amortization generally 5 to 8.5 years.
  • Loans can be in USD or CAD with a minimum financing of $10 Million.

 

Benefits

  • Competitive, long term financing extended to the foreign buyer.
  • Financing is made without recourse to the U.S. Exporter.

 

Requirements

  • Capital goods must be produced in and exported from the U.S. (Minimum 50% U.S. content).
