Christian McMillan

Christian McMillan is an EVP at TD Bank Group, where he serves as the enterprise head of Financial Risk Management, and Chief Risk Officer of the TD Securities segment. In his role leading Financial Risk Management he is responsible for ensuring the identification, assessment, remediation and reporting of all financial risks within the Enterprise and ensuring that all TD financial risk products and exposures are managed within the Risk Appetite of the organization. In his role as CRO of the TD Securities segment, he leads a risk team overseeing the aggregation and management of all risks within the segment, and providing guidance, advice and independent challenge to management.

Christian joined TD in 1995 and worked in front office roles in Commercial Banking and TD Securities before being named SVP TD Securities Credit Risk Management in 2010. Christian most recently served as SVP & CRO of Canadian Banking, Insurance and Wealth from 2021-2024, and prior to that as SVP of Retail Risk Management from 2017-2021.

Christian lives in Toronto with his wife Karina and their two children.
