Biography

Mike Gitlin is president and CEO of Capital Group. In his role, Mike draws on his strong experience in the investment, client-facing and operating groups, to work with other leaders to execute on Capital Group’s long-term strategy. Mike also serves as chair of both the Capital Group Management Committee and Finance Committee. Capital Group is one of the world’s largest investment management organizations, with $2.9 trillion in assets and a singular focus on delivering superior results for investors since 1931.

Prior to becoming president and CEO, Mike served for 9 years as the head of fixed income for Capital Group. Mike helped the company become one of the largest active fixed income managers globally, with approximately $523 billion in assets and 50 years of experience in fixed income markets. He has also been responsible for overseeing global trading and the client groups in Europe and Asia Pacific.

Mike holds a?bachelor’s degree from Colgate University and has 31 years of investment industry experience.?Prior to joining Capital, he was head of fixed income at T. Rowe Price, and earlier its global head of trading. Before that, he was head of U.S. equity sales for Citigroup Global Markets, where he also served as head of Asia-Pacific sales trading, head of Asia-Pacific cash equities and head of international cash equities. He also served as head of Asia-Pacific trading for Credit Suisse Asset Management and traded Japanese equities and bonds for George Weiss and Associates.

Mike works passionately to support veterans. He is heavily involved with Catch A Lift Fund, which enables post-9/11 combat-injured veterans to recover and rehabilitate, both physically and mentally, through physical fitness, motivation and support. He and his wife are supporters of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and Mike recently joined the organization’s Board of Governors. Mike has lived and worked in London, Hong Kong, Singapore, Baltimore, Connecticut and New York, and is currently based in Los Angeles.

Biography

Andres Rincon heads ETF sales and strategy at TD Securities. His ETF team advises both institutional and wealth investors on the ETF landscape and strategies, publishes a broad array of ETF publications, and works with TD's ETF market making team in facilitating ETF orders. Andres joined TD Securities in 2008, first managing credit risk for the dealer, and later as a member of the Equity Derivatives division. He later took on the task of expanding TD Securities' ETF sales and strategy platform. He is also a Chartered Market Technician (CMT).
