Laura Quinn, Managing Director, Head of Primary Markets, and Laura O'Connor, Managing Director, Fixed Income Origination & Syndication, are two senior team members building out our European presence.

Laura Quinn and Laura O'Connor moved from London, England to Dublin, Ireland to build out and establish our Debt Capital Markets business. Their work was responsible for our firm's inclusion as a primary dealer with the EU and establishing ourselves as a player in the European financial space. Quinn and O'Connor have consistently delivered significant results while also mentoring and sponsoring women in the industry.
O'Connor: I cover bond issuers from the public and private sector across a range of currency markets from Australian dollars to U.S. dollars.
O'Connor: Raising US$8 billion for The World Bank in April 2020 to support the response to the COVID-19 pandemic…. from my kitchen table during the first lockdown!
O'Connor: Filter out the noise and do not let other people's expectations define what you can achieve.

What I do:
Quinn: I lead the Origination and Syndication business for our new European hub based in Dublin.O'Connor: I cover bond issuers from the public and private sector across a range of currency markets from Australian dollars to U.S. dollars.
Proud moment:
Quinn: Being a university scholarship student to becoming the first front office female Managing Director in London.O'Connor: Raising US$8 billion for The World Bank in April 2020 to support the response to the COVID-19 pandemic…. from my kitchen table during the first lockdown!
Advice to my younger self:
Quinn: If you don't ask, you don't get! You must communicate your ambitions to increase the probability of making them happen. Don't expect people to be able to read your mind.O'Connor: Filter out the noise and do not let other people's expectations define what you can achieve.
