February 4, 2021 - 2 minutes
A group of professionals clap in appreciation.
The votes are in for the 2020 Institutional Investor Research Survey rankings, and we are proud to share that the efforts and support of our U.S. strategy teams are reflected in the results.

"I would like to offer my thanks to the entire U.S. Strategy team – they pulled a Herculean effort in their coverage throughout the pandemic last year," says Richard Kelly, Managing Director and Head of Global Strategy. "Thank you very much for all of your continued hard work and dedication to our clients."

In a year hit by a deadly virus, economic uncertainty and a complete change in how we interact, our teams worked long days to deliver up-to-date analyses and ideas to our clients. We achieved this by quickly pivoting to a new work-from-home model, adapting to new technologies and keeping the dialogue going through video calls, publications, trades and virtual roundtables.

We are very appreciative that our clients have ranked our team with confidence. Key highlights from this client recognition survey, which evaluates financial institutions and analysts on their services and performance, include ranking:
  • 3rd in Agency Debt
  • 6th for U.S. Rates
  • In the Top 10 for U.S. Economics & FICC Strategy
  • In the Top 10 in all U.S. fixed income products
Our individual analysts also scored high in key rankings across the survey. In particular, Priya Misra, our Managing Director and Global Head of Rates Strategy, received an Honorable Mention for being cited by name as one of the best U.S. rates strategists in the market. We would also like to highlight Gennadiy Goldberg for ranking within the Top 5 in Agencies; and Penglu Zhou from our U.S. Rates Team and Jim O'Sullivan and Oscar Munoz on our U.S. Macro team for their recognition in the Analyst rankings.

"This is fantastic news to hear," says Moti Jungreis, Vice Chair and Head of Global Markets. "This recognition highlights the success of our U.S. Strategy Team and reinforces our mandate of not just providing support to our clients but being a true partner for them."

We are proud of the recognition and support our clients have placed upon our U.S. strategy teams. As we continue to weather another year of the pandemic, we look forward to providing our clients with the latest market opportunities, trade ideas and analysis, and reliable coverage.
