What I Do:

As a member of the Global Trade Finance Origination Team within Global Transaction Banking, I lead a team that provides comprehensive advisory, structuring and origination of trade finance solutions to TDS clients across all industry sectors. Our team provides a fully integrated trade finance product suite to meet individual client requirements while acting as a strategic advisor.

Proud Moment:

When I was a business manager for GTB, I was approached by a member of the leadership team to join his team as an originator. Despite not having the same experience or knowledge as others in the role, the member believed I would be successful because of the aptitude and commitment I displayed. This opportunity led to a career shift which I have embraced and exceled to the position I am in today. This experience has taught me that consistently doing your best is what creates opportunities.

Advice to My Younger Self:

Be confident in your abilities and constantly seek growth in your career. If you are not learning or being recognized, you need to proactively make a change. Seek out managers and leaders with a reputation for encouraging, mentoring and developing their team members.
